Monday – A magnificent sports extravaganza was organized at Sloka – the school, Manikonda. All the students of the school participated with great fervor and manifested their athletic skills with unimpeachable finesse.
The mega event commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Mr. B. Venkat Reddy Garu, the director of the school. This was followed by a welcome song. Principal, Ms. K S L S Bhavani quoted on the importance of the day as well as sports in one’s life. The event proceeded further with the March Past led by the students of various houses – red, blue, green, and yellow. Running race Finals were organized by the School Sports Department on this day in which students participated with great enthusiasm. All the games were organized in the school playground. There was a prize distribution ceremony in which all the members of the match-winning team and individual winners and runners bagged medals and trophies which were given by the chief guest and Principal. And at the end, the chief guest gave a motivational speech, in which he advised everyone to participate in the field of sports and also told many benefits of sports activities.
